Click OK. Note: If the model libraries reside in a directory that is not on the library search path, and you use the Browse button in step 4 to select the libraries you want to add, then the schematic editor automatically updates the library search path to include the selected library in the search path. Otherwise, you need to add the directory path yourself. See Changing the library search path on page 253. Changing the model library scope from profile to design, profile to global, design to global and vice versa There are times when you might need to change the scope of a model library from profile to design, profile to global, design to global, or vice versa. Example: If you have an instance model that you now want to make available to any design, then you need to set the scope of the local model library that contains it to global. For more information, see Global vs. design vs. profile models and libraries on page 191. To change the scope of a design model to global 1. From the Simulation menu, choose Edit Profile, then click the Configuration Files tab. 2. Click Library in the Category field to display the Library files list. 3. Select the model library that you want to change. 4. Click the Delete toolbar button to remove the local entry. 5. Add the model library as a global entry.
