Specify the name of the new model in the Model Name text box. 4. Select the Use Device Characteristic Curves option. 5. From the From Model drop-down list, select the device type and click OK. Note: Depending of the device type, you may have to provide some other details. For example, if the device type is Bipolar Transistor, you will also need to specify if the BJT will be of NPN or PNP type. All the device characteristic curves for the device and the simulation parameters are displayed. You can now characterize the models by either using data sheets or editing simulation parameter values.
