Updating Allegro EDM Component Database To ensure that designers have access to the latest components from the Allegro EDM component database, you will need to migrate your 17.2 setup to 17.4. In brief, after you complete the migration to 17.4, this is how your setup will be: Migrating the 17.2 Master Library Server to 17.4 To migrate to the 17.4 environment, do the following: 1. Stop the 17.2 Master Library Server (MACHINE_X) by doing either of the following: ❑ Close the Allegro EDM server Command Prompt window by clicking the cross icon. -OR- ❑ Launch Allegro EDM Configuration Manager. Click Set up or Manage Allegro EDM Servers or choose Server – Server Management Dashboard. In the Server Management Dashboard tab, right-click on the Master Library Server icon. Select Stop Allegro EDM Server.
