Migrating to the 17.2-2016 Release Virtuoso SiP Architect shipped with release 17.2, is supported only on the 64-bit version of the Linux operating systems, and is compatible only with 64-bit Virtuoso tools. When you open your pre-17.2 designs in Virtuoso SiP Architect 17.2, you might get the following error message on CIW. These messages are displayed when you launch Library Manager, or open a schematic that has parts instantiated from 32-bit libraries. To remove these errors, uprev the 32-bit libraries that were created with pre-17.2 versions to 64-bit libraries. Updating 32-bit part libraries, so that they are 64-bit compatible, is a one-time activity. To update one or all design libraries, perform the following steps. 1. Launch Virtuoso Schematic Editor. 2.
