Select Configuration Manager from the Build menu or from the solution configuration drop-down in the main toolbar. 2. Select New from the platform drop-down in the Configuration Manager dialog box for the project to be build on 64-bit platform. 3. Select x64 from New platform drop-down and Win32 from Copy Settings from drop- down in the New Project Platform dialog box. 4. Click OK. 5. Ensure that x64 is the default selection in Platform drop-down in the Configuration Manager drop-down and x64 is displayed in the solution manger drop-down in the main toolbar.
