Irregular Spacing of Checklist Items in a Form If your form has a set of checklist items, all equally-spaced in the form file, but for which there is a slightly larger gap between some items as shown in the form on screen. This can be seen in the following example, taken from the Design Parameter Editor form. There is additional spacing above and below the Waived DRCs check box. This is because the effort has been made to align fields in rows and columns as best possible. The Waived DRCs option is attempting to align with the Display net names group box to its immediate left. Should this offset make your form confusing for any reason, consider realigning your fields vertically. If your form has many complex group arrangements, you may wish to consider using text labels for headers instead of group boxes, for improved organization. Note that text labels can use bold, italic, underline, and other options to make them stand out in the form for your users. Fields Spaced Farther Apart (Horizontally) Than Desired In cases where your form has many text label fields, you may find that things are spaced farther apart than you need them to be. In general, this stems from the static text labels having an FSIZE definition which is much larger than required. FSIZE specifies the width – in form "columns" – that is needed to hold the label that you have defined. It is *not* the number of characters in the text. This is a common misconception.
