In older releases, you were restricted to just the named colors provided in the interface (White, Black, Red, Green, Yellow, etc). Now, if you need additional colors beyond these, you can specify the color using the exact RGB value. This is done in the standard format for a text string representing a color, #RRGGBB. In these scenarios, the name should have a # as the first character, followed by two characters for each of the red, green, and blue colors as hexadecimal values.
