Different users install product and library The users installing product and library can be different. In addition, the access level specified while installing product and library can be different. The different scenarios and outcome are described in the following table: First Installation Second Installation Result Product for current user CHD_LIB_INST_DIR is set in user space (of user installing product) to product installation path. Library for current user Default library installation path is CHD_LIB_INST_DIR in user space (for user installing library). If variable not defined in user space, system space variable is default. CHD_LIB_INST_DIR is updated for user space ((for user installing library) and system space if user changes library installation path. Important In this the products will not be able to use library. The user installing product need to delete the CHD_LIB_INST_ DIR from the user space to be able to use the system space value.
