Advances in 24.1 Allegro X Layout tools have made it difficult to continue supporting the Allegro Classic Free Viewer, so it will no longer be available as a separate download or included in the full installation. The new Allegro X Free Viewer can be used to view designs utilizing a more user friendly interface that makes it easy for average users to use without prior knowledge of Allegro X Layout tools. The new viewer offers a cleaner interface with improved layer display controls and access to information using built-in Search and Properties panels. Although the interface is different from the Allegro Classic Free viewer it is powerful and offers all the features that the previous viewer offered and more.
