How can I perform Design Sync from a shared workspace?

Answer

Create a workspace, share it with the PCB designer, and provide the designer rights, as shown below.

Create a new project and select Use Workspace option.

Finish the schematic design and create a PCB file for that design using PCB > New Layout.

Publish this project directory to the desired shared workspace (Target Workspace).

The PCB designer can see the project and edit the board file from the shared workspace; this will go to the PCB designer's 'My Workspace'. Open the board file from My Workspace to perform the changes.

Note: The PCB designer must refresh the workspaces to update the changes to the workspace at their end.

After modifying the board file, the PCB designer can publish the modified board back to the shared workspace with comments if required.

The schematic designer can now edit the schematic file from the shared workspace to move it to their local workspace, and from there, the designer can update their schematic using PCB > Update Schematic.
