Demonstration of impedance characterization process for the short-circuited PCB-level power distribution network, considering adjacent power-ground planes as a cavity; analyzing the impedance characteristics of the shorted and the open cavity in terms of spreading loop inductances and resonant frequencies; computing loop inductance of the cavity as a function of frequency; analyzing shifting of cavity's input impedance peaks corresponding to shorting the cavity at different locations.
