Module 3: Exporting SPECs to IPC-2581 Output
To include the IPC SPECs into the IPC-2581 export, the user preference to allow the
export must be enabled.
LAB 1: Exporting SPEC Settings
1. In the PCB Editor, open the SpecLab_4.brd board drawing.
2. From the PCB Editor main menu, go to Setup > User Preferences.
3. In User Preferences Editor > Categories, navigate to Interfaces > IPC2581.
4. Enable ipc2581_export_user_specs by selecting the Value checkbox.
5. Apply and close the User Preferences Editor form.
6. IPC-2581 may now be exported with the SPEC definitions included.
This completes the labs.
