Table A-1 Pro/ENGINEER Variables Pro/ENGINEER Environment Variable Description ecad_area_default_import Defines how imported ECAD areas are treated. Cosm_area treats imported ECAD areas as cosmetic area features; 3d_volume imports ECAD areas with z-heights as a three-dimensional, enclosed quilt. ecad_board_csys_def_name Specifies the default coordinate system name added to an ECAD board being imported. If you do not set this variable, the system prompts you for a name. ecad_comp_csys_def_name Specifies the default coordinate system name added to an ECAD component being imported. If you do not set this variable, the system prompts you for a name. ecad_comp_layer_map Allows layer mapping for the ECAD component's import into assembly.
