Installing Design Entry HDL - Allegro PSpice System Designer Library You can install the Allegro Design Entry HDL - PSpice System Designer libraries independent of the product installation. You can choose to install specific libraries, update libraries, or uninstall libraries at any time. Note: It is recommended that you install products before installing the library. Installing the Libraries 1. Click setup.exe in the top-level of the Windows DVD image (above the Disk 1 folder). 2. Click Install for HDL-PSpice Library. The Cadence Allegro 17.4 Library Installation page appears with a warning to turn off any anti-virus software you may be running before proceeding with the product installation. Note: Running anti-virus software while performing installation might significantly increase the install time or even lead to unsuccessful installation. 3. Click Next. 4. Read and accept the License Agreement and click Next. 5. In the Choose Destination Location page, verify the options and click Next. If OrCAD and Allegro products are already installed, the default path is the installation hierarchy. If the products are not installed, the default path is C:\Cadence\SPB_17.4. You can click Change to alter the location to any valid path. Specify a path on the local machine as installing across the network might take a long time. Select Anyone who uses this computer [all users] for all users of the computer to access the installed applications. Select Only for me to allow access to only the current user installing the applications.
