Select the deepest layers for each side, enable checkboxes on the right to generate layer pairs for TOP and BOTTOM or check both the checkboxes and select the Create button in the Initialization section to create the backdrill layer pairs. Click the Close button to see the layer pairs. Note: This section performs the same layer pair creation as the Backdrill Pairs Question dialog presented when Backdrill and Analysis form was first opened. 2. Create layer pairs based on Design Backdrill Analysis (Analysis): Enable Minimize electrical stub length or Minimize layer pairs and select the Create button in the section to create the backdrill layer pairs based on the backdrill analysis of the design.
