Page 15 is found, then the tool renumbers the RefDes coming from the block. o Prefix This is used to assign a prefix to the reference designator of the components of the block. For example, if you specify the Prefix to be K, then the RefDes for that instance would change from say U10 to UK10 o Suffix This is used to assign a suffix to the reference designator of the components of the block. For example, if the value of suffix is specified as _K, then the RefDes for that instance would change from say C01A1 to C01A1_K o Offset This is used to specify an offset value for the RefDes and the components of the block will have this value added to them to create RefDes. For example, if offset is set to 30, the RefDes would change from U12 to U42. This option can only be used when the directive REFDES_ALPHA_NUM is set to NONE. o Use Range This option is used to specify a range for the RefDes of the components of a block. For example, if the range is specified as 501 to 600, the components from this block will have RefDes assigned from 501 to 600. o Pattern This option allows you to define any custom pattern for RefDes naming.
