Page 10 Creating Reuse Module Netlisting in Capture After performing the front-end preparations for reuse flow, netlist the designs and create or update the board file (.brd) for these designs, followed by creating the reuse module. 1. Open bot1.dsn on which you have done PCB Editor Reuse annotation. 2. Choose Tools -- Create Netlist. 3. Check the Netrev option to Create or Update PCB Editor Board. This will create bot1.brd in the allegro folder at the design location. Alternatively, you can create the netlist and then import it into Allegro PCB Editor. Creating Reuse Module in PCB Editor 1. In Allegro PCB Editor, place the component and do the routing. Now create the reuse module. 2. Choose Tools -- Create Module. When you click Create Module, a message asks you to select the component. Select the required area on the board.
