Creating Reuse Flow Part (Hierarchical Part)
For this method also, you must create a design for PCB Editor and annotate it for PCB
Editor Reuse to generate Reuse module.
Use bot2.dsn to create a hierarchical part. This design has been annotated for PCB
Editor Reuse and you can see that reuse properties are assigned to the components.
To make the reusable component:
1. Open bot2.dsn from .\LAB\BOT\library\.
2. Select the . DSN file and choose Tools -- Generate Part
3. Browse to the design file under source file and fill other fields appropriately.
4. Ensure that copy schematic to library is not selected. Checking this option results
in loss of some Occurrence properties, which is critical for design reuse.
5. Click OK to create the reusable part.
A library named bot2.olb is created with part LPF.
