All rights reserved worldwide. Page 12 4. After selecting the origin, save the MDD file. Name of this MDD file has to be in a specific format. The name must be; _.mdd. For this design, specify the name of MDD as bot1_voldiv.mdd. 5. Save the MDD file. By default, it is saved in the allegro folder which has the .brd file. 6. Exit Allegro PCB Editor. Similarly, create the reuse module, MDD file, for bot2.dsn. The name of this MDD file will be bot2_lpf.mdd. Using a Design Reuse Module in Capture-PCB Editor Flow Now, you can use the reuse module in any design. In Capture, you can either use the reusable schematic or the reusable part. And the module, MDD file created for the design, will be placed in the PCB Editor board.
