Calculation of Efficiency
You can directly calculate the average power drawn from a source using the average function and
delivered to load. Using these two measurement, efficiency of VRM can be calculated. In order to obtain
reasonable accuracy, you should perform such measurement on simulation done in steady state covering
at least three to four cycles. Figure 15 display the input power and power delivered by VRM (output
power)
