Final Backdrill Steps – Executing Backdrill Disable Dynamic shape update during backdrill – When backdrill is executed route keepouts are added to all backdrill locations to maintain backdrill hole clearance. On designs with a lot of dynamic shapes could see a performance impact during backdrill so this setting allows you to disable dynamic shape update. Backdrill status ■ Red – Backdrill data are out of date, select the Backdrill button to update. ■ Green – Backdrill data on pins/vias are in sync ■ Grey – No backdrill data saved on pins/vias yet ■ OK Closes form and saves settings with no Backdrill data generated Cancel Closes form and discards updated settings Analyze Analyzes design only and reports backdrill information but do not add backdrill data on pins/vias or update padstack backdrill values ViewLog Displays the last generated Backdrill and Analysis report
