Page 7 Making a DE-HDL Design DML-Independent In case the DE-HDL designs are still DML-dependent, first convert them to the DML-independent mode, and then import into a System Capture project. It's important to have the same mode of operation, Automatic or Manual, for XNet creation in DE-HDL and System Capture. So, you need to: 1. Decide on the mode of operation. 2. Accordingly, set the directives in the site.cpm file. 3. Convert the DE-HDL design to DML-independent. On opening the design in DE-HDL, based on the CPM directives set in the site.cpm file, you get the following message: 4. Click Yes to convert the design to DML-independent mode. Once the design is migrated, the following message is displayed.
