Analysis Workflows: Reflections Analysis (RAK) Learn more at Cadence Support Portal - https://support.cadence.com © 2019 Cadence Design Systems, Inc. All rights reserved w orldw ide. Page 5 Component Model Setup In this section, you will go through the following checkpoints: • Are the default models correct for this simulation? • Do I want/need to assign models? 1. Invoke the Allegro PCB Designer product with High-Speed Product Option and open "Reflection_Analysis_Module2.brd". 2. Select Analyze > Workflow Manager from the main menu. 3. Select Reflection Workflow from the pulldown in the Analysis Workflows window as shown below. 4. Select the Default Model Setup link under the Component Model Setup section of the Analysis Workflows pane. This opens the Default Model Setup dialog, which is used to select the default models to be used in the simulation when no buffer model is found for a pin in the simulation and only when the Use defaults for missing models checkbox is enabled in the workflow. Notes: • This is all IBIS-based, and the default models do not require/use DML models. • Now, there are default buffers for differential pins. • The supported list of Pinuse has been simplified: a. Pins are either explicitly In/Out or will fall into the BI/Other category. b. IC pins with incorrect or undefined Pinuse will be assigned the BI/Other default.
