28. Click on the 3D toolbar icon to see this footprint and STEP model in the new
3D canvas.
Notes:
a) The 3D canvas will show the top view by default. To check the BGA
bumps at the bottom of the symbol, the view can be rotated by
pressing Shift Key + Middle Mouse Button (MMB) and moving the
mouse.
b) The screenshot shows the STEP model in 3D canvas. If the pins are
shown as flat pins, it might be because the STEP viewing is not
enabled. Use Setup > Preferences. This would open the Allegro 3D
Canvas preference form. Select Symbol Representation Category
and confirm that either option 2 or 4 is selected. This would show
STEP model, if associated.
