Module: Footprint from Package
Lab
LC for SPB 17.4-2019 will now be installed using the standard OrCAD/Allegro 17.4-
2019 installer.
LC directly interacts with Allegro PCB Editor without using the SKILL files. This
speeds up the export of footprints to Allegro PCB Editor and also allows more
information to be exported, such as dimensions.
1. Invoke Allegro ECAD-MCAD Library Creator from the Start menu.
2. In the Search tab, add a Property of Pin Count and a Value of 8. Confirm that
Only search Cadence packages is unchecked and that Latest versions only is
checked and then, hit the Enter key or the Search button at the top of the
Search area.
3. Appropriate results will be displayed.
