1. In the same BOM-HDL dialog, select Variant BOM and variant BETA.
2. Choose HTML report format.
3. Click Generate, and then Yes to view the report.
The same data as the base report is presented, except that the BETA variant
created earlier is represented with three fewer parts due to the connectors
marked DNI.
4. Close the report window to return to the BOM-HDL dialog.
5. Choose Variant Comparison BOM.
6. Click Generate and then Yes to view the report.
Tabular information shows all variants, similar to Variant Spreadsheet Editor,
above a list of common components among all variants.
7. Compare this information to the file variant_data.csv created earlier.
All BOM files are now shown in the Design Explorer pane, under Output
Files - BOM – root.
Lab 6: Plotting, Printing and Generating PDF
Allegro System Capture provides the standard plotting and printing functionality.
Currently, basic PDF file generation is also supported. You have an option to
either target your output to a printer or save the output as a PDF file. You can
select either to generate a Color or a Black & White PDF for the project.
• Use the File – Print menu to explore the available print options.
