With the change in the component, the properties are also updated in the Variant
Info view.
13. Close the Variant view by selecting the menu option Variant - View -
Off.
Lab 3: Using Variant Spreadsheet Editor
Allegro System Capture also provides spreadsheet-based Variant Editing capability.
Variant Spreadsheet Editor provides a single view for displaying information about all
the objects and all the variants of the design. Individual columns display information
about the Base design and each of the Variants of the design. This helps in easily
comparing data between base and different variants.
1. Choose the Variants – Variant Editor command to launch the
Variant Spreadsheet Editor.
